2. NBS Lunch & Learn | 14 May 2024
Authentic Social Media for Business Made Fun & Easy - with Bea Pole-Bokor, B!Social
What a great & courageous group, diving deep right away!
An absolute full house as we explored some common struggles about what makes it so tricky to market ourselves & our businesses, and how to start showing up, including on camera!
Bea presented a live case study about what we do at Business Assist, how we use social media marketing, Gael shared her journey with the photos & videos, what they brought to our organisation and what are the keys to our growth and success.
The most fun part was to explore taking selfies and getting over ourselves as a group, a real time to B!Social!
It’s been wonderful to see everybody in action!
Big thanks to our lovely hosts Pūtangitangi Greenmeadows Centre - great to have you Karen with us, too, and to our fantastic sponsors, NBS, so we can run these events free of charge to our local business community!

3. Apex Accounting "Just Talking" Businesswomen's Series | 15 May 2024
with Tracee Neilson, Program Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nelson-Tasman
Seize the day, time is short! Can we be present, open - without judgement, open for change, are we doing what matters, and what are we grateful for everyday?
Powerful insights from our inspiring guest for this month’s Apex Accounting "Just Talking" Businesswomen's Series! Tracee Neilson shared her business journey and experience as Program Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nelson-Tasman, New Zealand’s biggest mentoring organisation for young people who need additional support.
We heard lots of stories that touched us, we had amazing mentors in the room, too, who have been part of this initiative. Examples of giving back, igniting potential and making a difference in people’s lives!
Special thanks to Tracee for joining us in the hot seat, and to our wonderful partners and sponsors, BNZ Partners Centre Nelson and Apex Accounting for making this event series possible!
