How to Ask Better Questions (and Increase Your Sales) - with Business Mentor Alan Mathews

“When you listen, you have power. When you talk, you give it away.”

This great quote of Voltaire got us started right away about how to ask better questions and why it is so important to any business owner doing sales.

Asking better questions can help relate better with customers and increase sales, yes!

Business Mentor Alan Mathews gave us a fantastic, real-life overview on

-how to actually ask questions to listen to your customers,

-what is the difference between open & closed questions, clarifying questions and more,

-and how you can use them in a business environment.

Thank you Alan for sharing decades of your sales expertise with us! Very insightful and eye-opening as most of us in the room thought we are good at asking questions!

3. Apex Accounting "Just Talking" Businesswomen's Series | 19 February

These are some of the reflections after our incredible & buzzing event. The whole room got instantly filled up with so much energy, Jo’s questions were terrific, and it was such a joy to see you all laugh, enjoy meeting each other and engage so actively with each other!

We hope you had fun and got to form some great new business connections!

4. ICIB BizBreak Networking | 26 February

What a lively business networking session today! We explored what goals we have for 2025, discussed our challenges and how we will make them a reality! Fantastic energy in the room, wishing you all the best as you make it a successful year!!!
