Ending the year and our L&L Mapua series with a full room of business owners keen to learn more about social media - always a popular topic! Big thanks to our speaker Alice Hazlett from Keetrax for all the insights and information and to our fantastic partners Mapua District Business Association - MDBA for co-organising this event series!

2. NBS Lunch & Learn | 12 November

How to Build and Achieve Financial Flow in your Business - with Lynda Moore, The Money Mentalist

Talking about money mindset when it comes to running a business was our theme for the last NBS Lunch & Learn for the year!

A big thank you to Lynda Moore The Money Mentalist for sharing her experience and insights on the different money personalities, the approach to money when growing a business, the ways to achieve financial flow and so much more! Our participants loved it!

Thanks to everyone who came along, participated, and to all our wonderful speakers & presenters for joining us and sharing their expertise with our local business community throughout the year. So many new learnings for all!

3. Apex Accounting "Just Talking" Businesswomen's Series | 20 November

The Grand Finale with Gael Gordon & Bea Pole-Bokor

A successful wrap up of the “Just Talking” businesswomen’s series with this fantastic group! Thank you all for coming along, for your presence, participation and active engagement throughout the whole year. Many of you keep coming back, and it is lovely to see new faces every time we come together!

We are still in awe of the power of these networking events, so many moments, stories and business journeys that inspired & connected us, and so many laughs shared!

We are so grateful to our amazing partners Apex Accounting for sponsoring this series and BNZ Partners Centre Nelson for hosting us, and to every business that donated to our wonderful business card draw - it’s been an unforgettable year with 10 amazing businesswomen sharing their most inspiring stories.

We are happy we went for it and co-created this together, with all of you.

We hope you enjoyed it, we sure did! This was our final one for this year, we wish you all a great summer and after a well-deserved break hopefully for everyone, we will meet again in February 2025!

 

 

4. Business Assist End of Year Function | 21 November

5. ICIB BizBreak Networking | 27 November

Celebrating our wins as we complete the year at our last ICIB BizBreak, a highlight for many of the participants as we reflected on 2024 and cheered for each other! So good to feel the support of a like-minded group of business owners who go through similar journeys.

We laughed, we shared stories of overcoming some big business challenges in 2024, and felt proud for each other for starting new projects, businesses, even lifestyles that came with the work.

We are so grateful to you all for coming along and making it a special one! A big shout out to ICIB Brokerweb Insurance & Risk Advisory for sponsoring our event!

Our aim is to support our local business community so you can meet other business owners, support each other, build referral networks - you don’t have to do everything on your own… and have a great time together, too!
